Morning Stroll at Patar White Sand Beach, Bolinao, Pangasinan

Imagine a place where you can just kick off your slippers and go barefoot at a pure white sand beach front. You watch the waves caressing the seaside, tickling your toes like it’s’ some kind of a spell. You plug yourself out of the internet-crazy world, and just spend time solo and slow with as clear as a glass sea as your back drop.

But this place is not just confined in the imagination. This exists at the outskirts of Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Bolinao is located at the northwestern of  Pangasinan. It boasts the Patar White Sand Beach, a vast blue-green back drop that gives pride to stunning rock formations and a postcard-worthy view.

The Patar White Sand Beach is known as an unspoiled paradise featuring its pure white sand that glows golden when the sun strikes.

A four to five-hour drive from Manila, this place is perfect for solo travelers who wanted to get their dose of serenity, or even for groups who wanted to veer away from already crowded beach hangouts.

If you’re the adventurer-type, try ditching the usual hotel room accommodation and book a nipa hut instead, ranging from 500 per night to a thousand—this depends on how big your group is.

This brings you the beachside feels, as you hear the gentle waves during the night, and hear them wake you up at the break of dawn.

If these ideas do not excite you, try pitching a tent by the seaside! There is no fee on pitching a tent, just make sure that you find a safe area.
